Brendan Mahood serves as the College Placement Coordinator, as well as a head coach and pitching instructor for the Midwestern Ontario Bearcats, where he works closely with athletes and families to support player development and guide the college recruiting process.

His background includes experience across elite amateur, collegiate, and international baseball. As a player, Brendan competed at the national championship level with the London Badgers, played with the Great Lake Canadians (CPBL) and Reds Baseball Academy (Illinois). He also represented the Irish Junior National Team in 2020 and 2021. He continued his collegiate career as an outfielder and right-handed pitcher at Saint Xavier University (Chicago, IL) and Goshen College (Goshen, Indiana).

In addition to his role with the Bearcats, Brendan has served as a scout with Prep Baseball since 2022, providing him with direct insight into collegiate / professional evaluation standards and the recruiting landscape. His approach emphasizes honest assessment, long-term development, and helping athletes find the right academic and athletic fit.
