Coach Bryan Patteson brings over 24 years of coaching, instruction, and player development experience across baseball, softball, and football. A 2x Intercounty All-Star with the Guelph Royals, Bryan’s playing career also included time with the Hamilton Astros (now Ontario Astros) in the Connie Mack League, as a pitcher and third baseman for the Kitchener Panthers of the IBL, and as a starting first baseman for the Laurier Golden Hawks in the OUA.
Bryan combines a deep technical knowledge of baseball, softball, and QB throwing mechanics with a proven ability to develop athletes across baseball, softball, and football at the highest youth and collegiate levels. Bryan is a former Senior Instructor at Frozen Ropes Baseball Training Centre (Guelph), a member of the National Pitching Association (NPA), and a certified diagnostic hitting and pitching coach with On Base University. Bryan has also been selected by both Softball Canada and Football Canada for their High-Performance Coach programs. He also served as an evaluator for Football Canada’s National Flag Team ID Camp and is the QB performance coach for Western University’s Women’s Flag Football Team, which has captured multiple provincial titles.
Bryan currently coaches with the Shakespeare Falcons Tier 1 Softball Team and has helped develop athletes who have gone on to compete at the OCAA, OUA, and NCAA levels.
