David grew up in Kitchener playing for the Kitchener Panthers.
In grade 10, he switched to the Ontario Nationals to further his baseball career in hopes of ending up in the states playing ball
After high school, David ended up at Iowa Central Community College, a DII junior college in a really good loop in Iowa. He enjoyed 2 successful years there in the back of the bullpen before coming home to the University of Guelph.
In his first year at Guelph, he anchored a solid Guelph bullpen, helping them to a national championship in 2019. He remained at Guelph until 2023 when he graduated, continuing to close out games at the back of the bullpen, helping to lead Guelph to a third place OUA finish in 2022. David did not give up an OUA run through the 2020-2023 Seasons.
David also has played in the IBL for the Kitchener Panthers since 2019, closing out games and providing a solid bullpen presence from his low arm slot.
