Field Manager

Gamin Teague brings a lifetime of elite athletic, coaching, and leadership experience to player development. A nationally recognized multi-sport athlete, Gamin’s competitive career began at a young age and evolved into high-level baseball performance across provincial, national, collegiate, semi-professional, and professional levels.

As a youth, Gamin was named Canada All-Star Shortstop and earned Gold Glove honours as the nation’s top defensive player. He was a three-time Athlete of the Year and baseball MVP at Notre Dame Secondary School, while also being recognized as a Toronto Star All-Star. At age 16, he represented Team Canada at the Junior Pan Am Games.

Gamin continued his baseball career on a full athletic scholarship, spending two years at Grand Rapids Community College followed by two years at Grand Valley State University, where he was a four-year starting second baseman and earned First Team All-State and All-Region honours. In 2001, he represented Team Ontario at the Canada Summer Games, leading the team in home runs and RBIs en route to a silver medal. He went on to play nine seasons of semi-professional baseball with the Toronto Maple Leafs Baseball Club, earning three All-Star selections, and later competed professionally in the Canadian Baseball League.

Transitioning seamlessly into coaching and player development, Gamin has spent over two decades mentoring athletes across baseball and basketball. He has served as an elite baseball instructor with Total Concept Baseball, worked extensively with at-risk youth in secure custody settings, and coached at the high school, rep, elite, provincial, and national levels. His coaching résumé includes provincial championships, national team experience, and a top-four global finish at the Junior NBA.

From 2017 to 2020, Gamin was Head Coach of the Brampton Royals Elite Program. He later joined the Mississauga Tigers High Performance Program, focusing on player development while serving as an assistant coach with the U22 team. Known for his ability to connect, develop, and lead, Gamin’s impact extends beyond wins and results—shaping disciplined athletes, strong character, and a lasting love for the game.
