Jaime Lever brings over a decade of experience in baseball and softball coaching, private instruction, and player development. Known for blending traditional coaching with advanced analytics, Jaime has earned a reputation for helping athletes reach their full potential through individualized, data-driven training.
As the former Minor League Hitting Coach for the Toronto Blue Jays at their Player Development Complex in Dunedin, Florida, Jaime played a key role in the offensive development of minor league players. She utilized biomechanics, video analysis, and personalized development plans to optimize performance and sharpen technical and mental skills.
Currently the Director of Player Development for the Hamilton Cardinals (Intercounty Baseball League), Jaime leads all aspects of player growth—from evaluation and mechanics refinement to mental game training—ensuring each athlete excels both individually and as part of the team.
In addition to her team roles, Jaime offers private coaching to baseball and softball players of all levels. Her instruction—ranging from hitting and fielding to mental performance—is tailored to each athlete and grounded in a balance of proven coaching methods and cutting-edge analytics.
Her past coaching work includes a successful tenure as Assistant Coach for Humber College Softball, where she helped lead the varsity team to a 2019 provincial championship. Jaime also brings an academic edge to her coaching, having taught motor learning, biomechanics, and sports analytics as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Guest Lecturer at York and Brock Universities.
Jaime’s coaching philosophy is rooted in holistic development. Through her work with the Jays Care Foundation, she designed and led youth programs focused on leadership, communication, and resilience. She also ran adaptive sports clinics and mentored coaches, reinforcing her commitment to athlete growth both on and off the field.
