Michael

Clouthier

Player Development Coordinator

Michael grew up playing youth baseball in Guelph before he made the transition to the Ontario Terriers
as a pitcher. During this time, he was selected for the Canadian Junior National Baseball Team, where
he pitched 3 years against top competition from countries across the world including Dominican
Republic, Cuba, USA, and Italy. After his high school tenure, Michael earned a baseball scholarship
to the Boston College Eagles Division 1 program, however he was sidelined to an injury in his first year
that forced him to move back home. Michael enrolled at the University of Waterloo, where he became
a four-time OUA first team all-star as a third baseman, and voted the team MVP all four of his years as
well. He was also a member of the Guelph Silvercreeks and IBL Guelph Royals.
Michael completed his Bachelor of Education at the University of Western and has recently been hired
as a teacher with the Waterloo Catholic District School Board. He has a strong passion for the game and
believes firmly in sharing his knowledge as a baseball coach and instructor to help all players grow and
reach their potential in baseball.
